Seacoast Theatre Centre Society is a professional theatre company and conservatory training program committed to the philosophy, development, practice and art of ensemble acting.

We create and produce works of artistic merit and social significance for communities on the North Shore of BC, and throughout Western Canada.

We assist individuals in making a significant contribution to the growth and development of the performing arts, their community, and the world by encouraging them to discover, develop, actualize and communicate the full spectrum of their unique personality in performance and in the world.

We are committed to the development of young artists by their inclusion in our mentorship program.

Two Distinct and Interdependent Entities

SEACOAST STUDIOS is the instructional wing of the centre where actors – graduates from high schools, colleges and universities across Canada – train to become valued professional artists in the theatre, film and television industries in Canada, the US, and Europe. The Studios also prepare actors to gain access to other distinguished institutions around the world.

SEACOAST THEATRE COMPANY is the professional wing of the centre. All members are graduates of the Studios training program and consist of both Equity and non-Equity members. All actors in the company are personally and professionally involved as mentors to the actors in the Studios through their participation in performance work, workshops and classes.
