FrAcTured joins Torn Rainbow at Sid Williams Theatre in Courtenay

FrAcTured will play at the Sid Williams Theatre in Courtenay, BC on Thursday May 15th, 7:00 pm. The play is presented with Torn Rainbow (Sticks and Stones and Names Will Break Me) performed by Vanier Drama as part of the Blue Circle Series.

FrAcTured is written by Robinson Wilson and directed by Scott Swan.

The lives of high school students have been fractured since their classmate came to school with a gun, resulting in the deaths of many friends and teachers. This one-hour play is honest, powerful, provocative, surprisingly humorous, relevant, and thoroughly engaging.

The Sid Williams Theatre Society has a great history of presented performances: Loretta Swit (also known as Hot Lips Houlihan from M.A.S.H.), Tom Cochrane, Second City comedy troupe, and Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, to name a few. The Blue Circle Series is named for the colour of inspiration. The circle celebrates inclusion. It symbolizes our eyes and opening awareness. It represents the infinite nature of energy. It symbolizes the cycles of time, the movements of seasons. The circle is sacred to many cultures, and beckons the viewer to be drawn in, like a spotlight on our stage.

Tickets and further information are available at the Sid Williams Theatre website.
